TAKING A DIVE INTO THE SUBJECT OF WHAT IT MEANS TO BE FIT AND HEALTHY, AND IF THE TWO TERMS ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. CAN YOU BE A FIT PERSON, ABLE TO PERFORM THE PHYSICAL TASK IN FRONT OF YOU, BUT STILL BE UNHEALTHY?

THIS LEADS TO A DISCUSSION ABOUT BODY WEIGHT IN OF ITSELF, AND WHETHER THERE IS AN “OPTIMAL WEIGHT” FOR PERFORMANCE IN CERTAIN RACES AND TRAINING. IF THERE IS ONE, HOW CAN YOU DETERMINE YOUR OWN IDEAL WEIGHT?
