I Gotta Get Out of This Place

I am seriously starting to worry about the State of my birth and residence … Florida

It started pretty simply, hanging chads. It was concerning because I think it did sway the election that year, but what bothered me the most about it, as does most of these issues, is the covering up and lying that came from it ….

Two years ago we elect a governor who is basically a criminal. He defrauded millions of people while CEO of a healthcare group, but got away with it, even though everyone knew he was guilty of at the very least knowing about what was happening. His punishment? The governor’s mansion. Unbelievable.

Then a few months ago a civilian patrol in Sanford shoots a kid. No matter where you stand on that is irrelevant. Β The bothersome thing to me is that the kid was unarmed, the guy was told NOT to follow him by the dispatcher, and it seems that when he started getting his ass kicked he shot him. Whatever happened to fighting? When I grew up if someone jumped you, you fought them … there was no shooting involved. Guns are for pussies who can’t protect themselves.

Terri Shiavo …. I won’t even go there.

Now we have people EATING the faces off other people.

Good Lord.

I am really starting to worry about this country, and this world.

So I need to find a place to live where craziness doesn’t happen. Where people are nice to each other, where being active is paramount to living, where employers value family time over work time, where you can bike to work if you’d like …. there has to be some place like this right??

I think it is Colorado ….

    The grass is always greener.
Remember Columbine, terrible blizzards? Focus on the good thing in your life that the training is bringing you and remember: illegitimi non carborundum
