The peeps at Tripbase have been running a blogging experiment with the goal of uniting bloggers from all around cyberspace to share and develop a collection of lost, but not forgotten blog posts that deserve to be brought back into the limelight.
I was added to the list of nominees by the great KC at 140.6 Miles of Awesome here are the rules:
- Blogger is nominated to take part (thanks KC)
- Blogger publishes his/her 7 links on his/her blog – 1 link for each category
- Blogger nominates up to 5 more bloggers to take part.
- These bloggers publish their 7 links and nominate another 5 more bloggers
- And so it goes on!
So here we go:
1. My Most Beautiful Post:
Hmmmm …. do I ever post something beautiful? Not sure. I guess what I would consider would be the ones where I make a connection between something mundane with something to do with training. My fave would have to be Chasing Shadows
2. My Most Popular Post:
I follow this through Google Analytics and shockingly my most popular post was the recent one where I ranted about family and “non-support”. Amazing how negative items are more popular than positive isn’t it. I have since rethought my stance and realized I was a bit harsher than I should have been, so removed it. The second most popular to date is Clydesdales, where I
regaled against the term and how unfair it was that women got to be goddesses and men had to be fat, hair footed horses.
3. Most Controversial
4. Most Helpful Post
I would HOPE that ALL of my posts are helpful, but I guess the feedback I got the most on this was Surviving Cancer
, which was a personal post. Also, An Improvement Reality Check
seemed to strike a chord with a few people.
5. Most Surprising Success
The whole blog surprises me when people read it, but I guess the most surprising was Welcome to Moe’s
that was meant as a joke but people seemed to like it.
6. Didn’t Get the Attention it Deserved
7. Most Proud Of
I like all my “Report From’s …. ” and they are always some of the most viewed. It makes me proud because I finished them and could write about them. Other than that, I think the one I like the most, other than those mentioned (of which Clydesdale’s is my favorite) is “Keeping the Faith”
I am supposed to nominate up to five blogs, and I guess I can’t nominate KC (I love her writing) so I will go with:
